Africa House (NI) will use its partnerships and international links to facilitate social enterprise initiatives. The aim is to give Africa community members a means of linking through to the skills, knowledge and resources that are available to build small to medium enterprises within the African community. It will link together local business and public sector interests to enhance the immense potential that exists within the African community for business ventures and start-ups.
We are keenly aware of the entrepreneurial experience that exists within the African community in Northern Ireland and are aiming to get these skills utilised for the benefit of the people, families and communities concerned. There is also the opportunity to build transnational partnerships which has the potential to establish economic and social development initiative, import and export, inter-country links and translation initiatives to assist social enterprise in its broadest forms.
